Just G: Growing Up
(Just G top and skirt, Forever 21 bag, belt and accessories, CMG wedges) Hype this look on Lookbook here.
I am my hair. Every time I change my hair color, I change parts of my life. These parts aren’t exactly what we usually consider major, but they’re significant enough to influence how I presented myself in general, or how I managed to look at life. Or so I thought.
I’ve never really properly talked about my new-old hair color until now. I call it new-old because I had the same hair dye used on me 3 years ago, except it produced a totally different result since I had my hair bleached before this. Being blonde for 8 months while I was in the process of growing my hair out - wow. I didn’t think I’d last that long (pun not intended).
It was a very sudden decision. Actually, too sudden, I think! I welcome spontaneity now. When I set my mind on something, I have to do it as soon as possible too. I wasn’t always like this, however. It took me a long time to be able to loosen up and be a little less prissy. It might seem shallow to say that I owe it all to my previous hair color, so let me tell you the whole story. (Warning: Drama inside!)
As the sun gets hotter and the days get longer, I want to wear flowy dresses and some sparkly silver accessories. Luckily I can shop right from my desk amongst Shapeways awesome designers!
